Advertising for Crew

Hi all,

Two films that I am producing are currently advertising for crew, and one is advertising for cast. Please do feel free to share this information with any interested parties based in Wellington.

The Lake

Call for Crew has been made on The Big Idea and on The Lake website. Applications are being accepted for the following roles:

• DOP
• First AD
• Camera Operator
• Camera Assistant
• Vid-Split Assistant
• Art Director
• Graphic Artist
• Art Department Assistant
• Hair and Makeup
• Wardrobe
• Boom Operator
• Sound mixer
• Grip
• Gaffer
• Continuity

Shooting will take place over three days at the end of March. These will include weekdays. The roles are unfortunately unpaid. Key crew are required to attend our weekly meetings, Wednesdays 6-7pm.

We are looking for applicants with a film education or 2+ years industry experience.

Call for Cast will go out on StarNow, The Big Idea, and on The Lake website in mid-February. Please go to The Lake website and subscribe by email to be notified once the Casting Call is made.

The Bonsai Tree

The call for crew has been made on The Big Idea. The casting call has been made on StarNow.

For cast, we require

• Lead role: man or woman
• Support: old man or woman
• Support: Courier
• Support: Ambulance driver
• Support: ‘Talkative’ Paramedic (male or female)

For Crew, we require

• DOP (HD)
• Production Designer/Manager
• Location Manager
• Storyboard Artist
• VFX/Green Screen Director
• Graphics Designer

We aim to shoot the film in March and/or early April. The roles are unfortunately unpaid.
