But when the family finds the house for sale, the eldest granddaughter’s estranged husband and ex-fiancé show up, and a grenade is found in the attic, they realise this won’t be the magical Christmas they had hoped for.

In this ensemble Dark comedy, the Hartley family descend on the family estate for Christmas, the first since the death of their patriarch, Grandpa Hartley.
There’s Granny Hartley (Cordelia), who plans to sell the family home, which the rest of the family are unhappy about.
Hortensia has just had a one-night stand with her childhood sweetheart, who the family loves – but her estranged husband has just turned up.
Add to this there’s Hugo, the trouble-making jealous cousin, and Poppy, the nosy youngest.
And then there’s the grenade they found in the attic…
