The day after 3 days of principal photography for The Lake, and I get some fantastic news from Jared Flitcroft, Director of [SIC], the short deaf film for which I did sound recording and sound editing. [SIC] has been nominated for six awards in the Deaf Short Film Festival: Best Director, Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
Congratulations to Jared; the Producer, Nadia; and the rest of the cast and crew. Fantastic news! The awards are on 07 May. I look forward to hearing the outcome of the awards, and hopefully hearing that [SIC] has won all of the awards it was nominated for.
